WERSI Styles in the OAX System: Converting Styles with the WERSI OAX Style Converter

Our styles in WERSI format are the basis for the WERSI OAX Style Converter. This is an optional add-on for WERSI’s modern OAX system that allows styles from other manufacturers to be converted into the OAX format so they can be played and used on WERSI instruments.

What is the WERSI OAX System?

OAX is a software-based organ, arranger, and performance platform with very powerful sound and accompaniment technology. It goes far beyond classic MIDI players and can process not only native OAX styles but also imported accompaniments.

What does the WERSI OAX Style Converter do?

With the style converter packages, our styles or styles from other manufacturers (e.g., Yamaha Tyros/Genos and Roland styles) can be converted into a format usable by the OAX system. Corresponding activation codes are unlocked on the WERSI instrument to make this function available.

Which styles can be converted to the OAX format?

• Keys Experts / WERSI format: Our styles can be used as the basis for convertible OAX styles once unlocked.
• Yamaha styles: e.g., styles from Tyros and Genos keyboards.
• Roland styles: Styles from Roland instruments can also be converted.

After conversion: Edit OAX styles in the Style Editor

After conversion, the new styles can be further adjusted in the Style Editor: change volumes, swap sounds, or remix drum parts until the style achieves the desired tone and balance in the setup. This turns our styles into customizable OAX styles.
